Digital learning

Module B — quiz response tracking across SEEP subjects. Measures whether students are engaging with self-paced content and how well they perform on it.

Modules
13
live SEEP subjects
13 digital learning modules are currently active across the SEEP curriculum, covering Bahasa Inggeris, Sains, Matematik, and stream-specific subjects from Tingkatan 1 to 5.
Attempts
190,083
quiz responses recorded
190,083 quiz attempts have been submitted across all modules this semester. Each attempt represents a student answering one quiz question inside a Module B unit.
Correct
137,422
right answers
137,422 attempts produced a correct answer. The ratio of correct to total attempts is the headline pass-rate metric.
Pass rate
72%
correct ÷ attempts
72.3% of all quiz attempts statewide are answered correctly. This is the single best signal of whether students are engaging with the digital content meaningfully or just clicking through.
Active learners
18,415
students who attempted ≥1 quiz
18,415 unique students have engaged with at least one digital module — roughly 17% of the SEEP cohort.
Attempts / student
10.3
engagement depth
Active students average 10.3 quiz attempts each. A higher number means deeper engagement across multiple modules; a low number means students are touching the content once and bouncing.
Top module
MATH-F3
19,720 attempts
Mathematics is the most-attempted module with 19,720 responses. Use it as a content-design template for less popular modules.
Hardest module
ADDMATH
49% pass rate
Additional Mathematics has the lowest pass rate (49%). Either the questions are too hard, the explanatory content is unclear, or the prerequisite skills aren't in place.

Analysis

18,415 students have submitted 190,083 quiz attempts across 13 modules, with a statewide pass rate of 72.3%. Mathematics leads engagement at 19,720 attempts;Additional Mathematics has the toughest pass rate at 49%.

How to read the table

Each row is one Module B subject. Attempts is the total number of quiz responses submitted this semester. Correct is how many of those attempts produced the right answer. Pass rate is the ratio. The Quality column converts the pass rate into a content-design verdict:Easy (≥80%, may be too soft),Healthy (70–79%, sweet spot),Stretch (60–69%, hard but valuable),Too hard(<60%, content needs review).

What it means

A statewide pass rate of 72.3% means students are mostly succeeding on the content — Module B is calibrated about right. The 34-point spread between the easiest module (ENG-F3, 83%) and the hardest (ADDMATH, 49%) is normal subject variation, not a content-design failure. Modules in the “Too hard” band need attention — either rewrite the question explanations or insert a prerequisite refresher unit. Modules tagged “Easy” should be reviewed for ceiling effects (students may be guessing or skimming because they aren't being challenged).

Recommended action

Priority 1: review the question pool for Additional Mathematics (49% pass) — it's the single biggest content-design lever. Priority 2: audit the “Easy” modules to make sure they are still discriminating between strong and weak students, not just rewarding clickers. Priority 3: amplify what Mathematics is doing right (19,720 attempts) — interview the content team that built it and replicate the structure on lower-engagement modules.
